「曲」奇多滋味音樂講座
蕭樹勝先生又再在今年一月至三月份，舉行古典音樂講座了。
這個名為西樂欣賞入門講座之「曲」奇多滋味音樂講座。
「曲」者指不同的美妙樂曲。
每年的講座，我都會選一些項目去聽講。
在講座裏，能夠感受音樂的氣氛，和現場愛好者分享音樂心得，不愧為一大樂事。
再加上蕭先生的幽默風趣的講解方法，令欣賞古典音樂的聽眾，更能易於掌握內容的詮釋，亦不失為一個理想的古典音樂講座。
大家若要發掘個中樂趣，這講座正好是古典音樂入門的橋樑。

退色的友誼
在清理書櫃的抽屜中，仍然找到我在十年前收到的信件。
這是我的舊同學；一個知己朋友，在移民後寄給我的信。
在她離開的兩三年間，仍然有書信往來。
信裏談到生活瑣事、感情、喜悅和傷感。她會有時覆，有時候不。我就不以為意。

日間醫療中心的體會
較早前，我在政府日間醫療中心，做了一次小手術。（可即日出院）
因為要全身麻醉，護士在事前要做些必須工作。包括詢問有關早一天的飲食和身體狀況；量度血壓和檢查口腔等工作。
不知是否本人真的緊張關係，血壓一直在高水平。所以護士只有不停替我量度血壓，希望度數會回到正常水平。她還說血壓上升是很正常，心情緊張是很自然的事，不緊張才怪。當時我只覺她蠻有愛心呢！
細看四周到來的女士，大都氣定神閒，其中一位更翻閱雜誌。傾談中才曉得她已不是第一次到來，怪不得神態自若。護士還開對她玩笑說：「你不要看雜誌了，請專心聽我講述手術後的細節，手術後你會有很多時間消磨。嘩！你為什麼戴手飾來做手術？你不知道是不可以的嗎？」
護士又對另一位女士要求枺除胭脂、口紅和指甲油。以免被誤會是面色泛紅。

2007年香港國際古書展
若每年會展中心的書展，感覺人流實在太迫、太熟悉的話。可考慮參觀另類書展「香港國際古書展」，使了有另番感覺。
香港也許不是一個有文化氣息的城市，書的價格常被誤為是書的價值，誤信由低廉的價格去貶低書的地位。然而，東南亞與大中華地有史以來第一次最大規劃的國際古書展，將選址香港，這可借助流傳經年的絕版古董書，重新提醒香港人經典出版固有的魅力。
或者會覺得奇怪，為何這些國際古書商巨頭選址香港？
有「女書人」之稱的台灣書癡鍾芳玲表示，除了因為香港作為大中華和東南亞地區的中心點、古物的進出口方便外，這裏曾經是西方殖民地的歷史令香港有兼容西方文化的背景，能促進原來沒多大交流的東西兩方古書業，可認識彼此的寶庫，使能達到相互教育的一途。

請愛護大自然
在秋高氣爽的子裏。本是行山登高，享受清新空氣和觀賞秋色景致的好時侯。
但不少行山人士，都只着重個人喜好，不考慮別人感受。於是做出缺德的行為。
一個星期日裏，我跟隨一隊旅行隊登山。在途中，我邊行邊拍照，感覺不亦樂乎之際。忽然在身後傳來吵耳的流行曲，我誤以為是收音機聲浪。當回頭一望，是CD機駁上小型喇叭，才知為何聲音會如此響亮。
但不少行山人士，都只着重個人喜好，不考慮別人感受。於是做出缺德的行為。
